Grund Skov Shelter 1

Coastal overnight camping spot in a clearing in Grund Skov. The site is equipped with a shelter and a fire pit with a grill. There is access to a composting toilet – bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. If you want to ensure dry wood, you must bring it yourself, but it is otherwise permitted to gather wood from the forest floor for use at the fire pit. Access to the site from the land side is through Grund Skov - but all parking must take place at Den Røde Lade, approx. 1 km from the shelter. The site is one of a number of coastal campsites along the East Jutland fjords and is marked with a pole from the waterside. GPS N 55 41.380 E 009 44.021 The shelter site cannot be booked. Access is on a “first-come, first-served” basis. However, it is expected that consideration is shown to other guests and that the space is shared.
