About this spot
Brostedet is run by volunteer “Brobyggere” and is established on private land. Booking via their email. There is an accessible toilet, water tap, fire pit with a grate, launching point, fishing jetties, wooden paths, and opportunities for fishing for e.g. signal crayfish. There are excellent opportunities for a picnic outing to enjoy this lovely place. Most facilities are established with access for all, i.e., wheelchair-friendly and suitable for those with mobility impairments. There is wheelchair access to wooden bridges and 2 fishing jetties on the south side of the stream, and one can drive to the accessible toilet north of the stream. On the south side of the stream, it is accessible for those with mobility impairments. Only cars with a visible disability permit may park on the south side; all others park north by the rainwater basin. If you want to fish, you must have a fishing license (see fisketegn.dk) and additionally pay 20 DKK per day, or 100 DKK per year via a QR code at the site. It is possible to reserve a shelter for 200 DKK by contacting [email protected]. Follow the instructions; a reservation is not made until confirmed. We will put up a sign with the reservation. Overnight stay costs 40 DKK per adult, also applies if a reservation has been paid for. Only shelters can be reserved; the site cannot be booked. All income from fishing and overnight stays goes exclusively to the development and operation of Brostedet.
