About this spot
Engelsholm Skov, totaling 147 hectares, consists of two different parts – Dyrehaven around Engelsholm Sø and Slot, and Vesterskoven around the first part of Vejle Å. Marked trails lead through the forest, and at the edge of Engelsholm Sø, there is a campfire hut with a grill and picnic tables for approx. 50 people. A poster exhibition at the campfire hut tells about the forest. It is possible to purchase fishing permits for Engelsholm Sø, and at the eastern end of the lake, there is access to bathing. Throughout the forest, there are fire pits and picnic tables, and in Vesterskoven, there is an enclosed dog forest.
