Right by Vejby Kulturhus, you will find a peaceful and atmospheric shelter site that invites tranquility, community, and overnight stays under the open sky. The site is ideal for families, hikers, cyclists, and scouts alike – or simply for you who want a break from everyday life and wish to enjoy nature in a simple and comfortable way. 🛖 The site has four spacious shelters, each providing shelter from wind and weather and an authentic nature experience. Whether you come alone or with others, there is plenty of room – and you are welcome to bring a tent and pitch it on the adjacent green grass area. 🔥 In the middle of the site, you will find a fire pit, perfect for cooking over an open fire, twist bread, or cozy gatherings in the glow of the flames. Firewood and a log splitter are available. Firewood can be purchased for only 40 DKK per bag. 🚿 You don’t have to miss out on comfort – there is free access to a toilet and shower at Vejby Kulturhus around the clock. There is also access to clean drinking water, so you can easily fill bottles or make coffee over the fire. 🥶 NOTE: The toilet and shower are closed from when the frost begins, approx. November to April. You are always welcome to inquire if it is closed for the winter. Drinking water is available at the back door of the Kulturhus all year round. 💰 Price: • Shelter or tent: 50 DKK per unit per night • Toilet, shower, and water: included in the price. The shelter site is located in safe and peaceful surroundings – close to Vejby, and in connection with the Kulturhus, while still feeling like being in the middle of nature. The perfect base for excursions, nature walks, or just a quiet moment under the stars.
