Hjørnegårdens shelterplads – på kanten af Svanninge Bakker

Welcome to Hjørnegårdens shelter site. The shelter site is idyllically located in the open landscape, approx. 500 meters from Øhavsstien. From here, it is approx. 16 km to Faldsled, 10 km to Faaborg, and 17 km to Fjellebroen. Kløverstien Svanninge, black route, passes right by the shelter site. Riderute Sydfyn passes approx. 1 km from Hjørnegården. Here at Hjørnegården lives the Mølgaard Christensen family, consisting of mother Helle, father Søren, and 3 sweet children Karla, Peter, and Sofie. A flock of sheep with lambs also lives here, as well as Misser, our large, very affectionate male cat. We ourselves love sleeping in the shelter and having cozy campfires at the campfire site, and hope to give you a lovely experience at Hjørnegaarden, and a peaceful overnight stay in our nice shelter. The shelter site consists of: a shelter with space for approx. 6 people, a campfire site, benches, a table/bench set, and a workbench. From the shelter, there is a view over the field to the south. Our sheep graze here, but don’t worry, the shelter site is fenced off so they don’t enter the area. They are curious and like to cuddle, but please do not feed them, as they risk becoming sick. Firewood: Bring your own firewood, or buy it from us for 25 DKK. Toilet: Please use our toilet, which is located in the utility room of the farmhouse, open from 6 AM to 10 PM. Waste: Sort your waste and use our waste bins, which are by the road. Water: Water can be drawn from the tap on the terrace. Horse: Horses are very welcome, but please contact us beforehand so we can make arrangements to fence off a part of the field. Dog: You may bring your dog if it is on a leash and you remember to pick up after it. Help us keep the shelter clean and tidy – i.e., no footwear in the shelter!
