Blokhus Klitplantage - overnatningsplads ved Brede Vej

If the campsite is booked - or you simply prefer a quieter experience - then the small overnight spot at Brede Vej is a good alternative. The tent site cannot be booked. There is space for a few tents here, and there is a brand new 4-person shelter. The shelter cannot be booked, and overnight stays are limited to a maximum of 2 consecutive days at the site. There is drinking water during the summer season and a fireplace. No firewood is provided, but you are welcome to collect dry branches and twigs from the forest floor. Due to fire hazard, only make small fires and avoid fires in windy weather. Extinguish the fire thoroughly. Take your trash with you so the site remains neat and clean. Motorized vehicles are not allowed on the site. The nearest parking is where the forest road Rødhusvejen meets Hunetorp Klitvej. From here, it is 1 km to walk to the site - follow Hærvejen north along Rødhusvejen and turn left onto Brændevinsstien. At the first crossing forest road, turn left. Rødhusvejen is also national cycle route 1, and if followed, turn left onto Den Brede vej. The shelter was built with support from the A.P. Møller Fonden.
