About this spot
Shelter located on the north side of Illerup Ådal. The shelter is connected to the marked hiking trail that runs around the river valley. The shelter is most easily reached from the Fuglsang rest area on E45. Firewood must be brought. The site cannot be booked, but is used on a first-come, first-served basis. NB! The river valley and the shelter site belong to Naturstyrelsen, but the forest behind the shelter is privately owned, so refrain from entering the forest after dark.
