About this spot
Booking: Self-service. There are 3 shelters, each for 4 people. The shelter site is located by a weir, where Skjern Å and Rind Å converge. There is a campfire site and a toilet building. The toilet is closed for winter from October 31st to April 1st. There is a canoe portage site, so you can use the site for overnight stays or a break on your canoe trip. Remember that it is possible to book shelters on Herning Municipality’s website. The site is part of the Project “Journey Along the River,” where portage sites and interpretive centers have been created along Skjern Å. Address: Sdr. Greenvej 6, 7400 Herning.
