Åstedbro Teltplads

The tent site is clearly signposted from the waterside and will be on your left after you have sailed under the bridge at Åstedsbro. Here there is a landing/launching spot, so the canoe can easily be pulled ashore. The tent site consists of two larger grassy areas where tents may be pitched. One is located by Gudenåen, while the other is situated a little further inland, surrounded by trees, providing shelter from the wind. There is a toilet building at the site with access to water. There is a campfire site at the location – it is permitted to gather firewood. Next to the tent site is Åstedbro Grillen, where meals and drinks can be purchased for lunch and dinner. Check opening hours on the grill’s Facebook page. There is no actual village in Åstedbro, and the site is generally relatively isolated – approximately 3 kilometers from shopping facilities in Rask Mølle. Therefore, make sure to bring provisions. It costs 50 DKK per person to stay overnight at Åstedbro Teltplads. The camp manager collects payment. Payment can be made in cash or via MobilePay. There must be three meters between pitched tents. It is permitted to bring a dog, but it must be kept on a leash at all times. Respect other guests and refrain from making noise. There is a parking lot at Åstedbro Teltplads, but since the site is intended for canoeists, please refrain from driving here to stay overnight. The parking lot makes it possible to pick up canoes and guests.
