The site also includes 3 shelters, a handicap-accessible composting toilet, and a larger grassy area with space for pitching tents. Himmerlandsstien R35 is 69 km long and runs from Løgstrup near Viborg to Løgstør, laid out on the disused railway line between Viborg and Løgstør. The trail passes through varied and scenic landscapes, alternating between hilly moraine landscapes, heaths, fjord-proximal meadow areas, and large meltwater valleys. Such a nature trail on a disused railway line is traffic-safe and has gentle gradients - a good alternative for a cycling holiday on main roads.
