Free tenting in a classic dune plantation between Bulbjerg and Thorup Strand. In Vester Thorup Plantage, there is variation in plant species due to the varying soil types, ranging from the windswept mountain pine to the tall-stemmed spruce forest and the lush deciduous forest in the ravines. From the bird cliff Bulbjerg in the west, with colonies of the gull species Kittiwake. Across the heath to the large plantation sections with fir, Scots pine, and mixed deciduous trees.
