Lille lejrplads Kalø Vig

The tent site is less than 10 meters from the water’s edge in Kalø Vig. Here, it is possible to come ashore from the waterside. The site is on the beach meadow without any facilities. You are welcome to stay overnight in a tent, tarp, etc. The site cannot be booked and is used on a “first come, first served” basis. You may stay overnight for 2 consecutive nights. You may cook over a campfire at the fire pit, which is located a couple of hundred meters away, closer to the forest near another tent site that can be booked for groups. There are approximately 900 meters to water and flush toilets at the parking lot for Kalø Slotskro. At the parking lot, during the tourist season, sausages and ice cream are sold. Here you can lie and enjoy birdsong and the sound of the water at the water’s edge. Or enjoy the view of Kalø Castle Ruin. You might also be lucky enough to see seals lying and basking on the large stones around the small island where the ruin is located.
