Ravnebanke Skov

The forest is a mixed forest with many beautiful old trees and exciting wildlife. Ravnebanke is located approximately 5 km west of Morud and Langesøskovene and about 6 km south of the village of Veflinge. The shelter is situated in a clearing right in the middle of the forest. On one side, there are large, beautiful Douglas firs and some scattered scrub. On the other side, the forest is more open with large beech trees, conifers, and undulating terrain. ACCESS: Access to the shelter and the forest must be via Skovmøllervej. There is good parking available just outside the forest on a small grassy area by Skovmøllevej. From here, it is approximately 500 meters to the shelter site. Access to the site is on foot. Follow the forest road from the parking lot into the forest and turn left at the first road (see map on bookenshelter.dk). NOTE: It is not possible to access the shelter via Ålemosevej, which is located south of the forest, as it is a closed road, applicable to both vehicles and pedestrians. So, be extra aware of this if using GPS to reach the parking lot. Google Maps, for example, will lead you via Ålemosevej, which is closed. Therefore, you must manually navigate via Skovmøllevej to the parking lot. The shelter can be booked via the “link to website” below.
