Shelterplads Tøvelde - Mønhytten

This cozy shelter site, located by a former scout hut, is for hikers and cycle tourists. Here you’ll find campfire sites, picnic tables, a composting toilet, a tap, 4 shelters, and space to pitch your own tent. There is also space for larger groups in their own tents. If you come as a larger group, the site must be booked by contacting Birger Flindthagen at [email protected]. Waste can be placed in the container by the hut. Please remember to clean up after yourselves. A row of apple trees of various local varieties separates Birger’s area from the public primitive overnight site. Please respect the boundaries. Birger and his family take good care of the site. Electronic music is not allowed at the site.
