About this spot
In front of the campfire hut there is a grassy area where one can play ball and games. The grassy area behind the fence is leased out for haymaking. Dageløkke Skov is a relatively new forest, which has been planted with many different tree species. In the middle of the forest, there is a large grassy area with cattle during the summer period. In connection with the establishment of the campfire hut in Dageløkke Skov in 2016, a range of activities has been developed, offering you the opportunity to explore the forest’s small animals, trees, and cultural history, and gain inspiration for games and competitions. There are a total of six different activities. Four of them take place based in Dageløkke Skov. The other two are from Nivå Havn og Strandpark and Nivaagaard Teglværks Ringovn, respectively. Some activities are suitable for family trips, others for a forest outing with many participants, such as a children’s birthday party. It’s easy – you choose an activity, borrow a backpack with activity descriptions and equipment from the town hall in Kokkedal, and you’re ready to go on a trip. See a short description of the various activities in the link at the bottom of the page. If you wish to borrow equipment, contact Gang i Fredensborg by email at [email protected] or phone: 4121 8190.
