About this spot
Dall and its immediate surroundings consist of only approx. 30 households inhabited by about 75 people. The village belongs to Aalborg Kommune and is located in Dall Sogn. Dall Kirke is a listed building and has a prominent location in the village. Before 1796, all farms and houses were clustered to the south, east, and north around the church and the village pond, as shown on an older map. In 2017, Dall Borgerforening took the initiative to recreate a part of Østre Gadekær as a gathering place for the village’s citizens, but also as an open offer for travelers along Hærvejsrute 3. The project succeeded with great local effort and goodwill and support from the area’s former owner, foundations, and Aalborg Kommunes Landdistriktspulje. Water is available from Easter until the autumn holiday. Rules for staying at Østre Gadekær: The park is entrusted to public care. You are welcome to use the installed tables/benches, hut, and shelters. You cannot reserve a spot, and you may stay a maximum of 2 nights. Grilling and open fires are only permitted in specially designated areas. In 2022, a small multi-toilet was installed. Hand sanitizer is usually available, but not paper. Issued prohibitions against the use of open fire during dry periods MUST be respected! Swimming in or sailing on the lake is not permitted. Remember to leave the site clean. Use the waste bins, or take your trash with you! Movement and stay are at your own risk. Always show consideration for others at the site.
