The campsite is surrounded by a large open grassy plain and is suitable for tenting. The campsite at Kridtbjerget is intended for larger organized groups, such as associations, schools, and institutions, accommodating approximately 25 people. The site can be booked for overnight stays, for a maximum of 4 nights. Bookings can be made no earlier than one year before the overnight stay. With a booking, you must occupy the campsite before 8 PM, otherwise your preferential right will lapse. If the site is not booked, it can be used during daylight hours on a first-come, first-served basis. The campsite is located by Ballerupvej and the forest road Slaggevej. Motor vehicle access to the site is not permitted, and permission cannot be applied for. Leave the site as you would wish to find it. Bring garbage bags and take all your trash with you. Follow the instructions on the information sign at the campsite. Facilities include: A campfire site with a bench ring around it and 2 table-bench sets. A similar campfire site will be constructed nearby soon to increase capacity. A lunch house with 3 table-bench sets. A primitive toilet, also accessible for wheelchairs – remember to bring your own toilet paper and wet wipes. Firewood: You may be able to collect some firewood from the forest floor nearby, but if you want to ensure dry firewood, you should bring your own dry firewood or charcoal. Spare living trees.
