The Ørnehøj shelter site is part of the Blå Støttepunkter shelter concept, where you can stay overnight in new, modern, and coastal shelters all the way around Fyn. The shelter site is beautifully situated below the coastal slope with a direct view over Lillebælt. Here are good chances to see porpoises, various coastal birds, and seals. The shelter site is established on a private area, and access to the site is from Fønsskovvej 28 via a path along the field towards the coast. It is possible to park a car in the recess after Fønsskovvej 28, 5580 Nørre Aaby. The shelters must be booked on www.bookenshelter.dk and cost 30 DKK/person/night.
