About this spot
The goal is for the forest to be an offer to the citizens and institutions of Ringsted, therefore everyone is very welcome. Traffic rules are as in private forests; however, unrestricted movement is allowed in Kærehave forest. Institutions may, by agreement, use the forest at night. Otherwise, the forest is closed from sunset to 6 AM. The forest’s fire huts and open fire pits can be used by everyone in Ringsted municipality free of charge. However, they must be booked if there are more than 5 people. Users from outside the municipality can use fire huts etc. for a fee.
