About this spot
Coastal overnight site on the eastern edge of Sønder Stenderup Sønderskov with a view towards Lillebælt. The site is equipped with a shelter, bonfire site, and grill. There is access to a dry toilet – bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Access to the site from the land side is through Sønderskoven – but all parking must take place at one of the parking lots in the northern part of the forest. The nearest parking lot is at Seljumsvej; from there, it is approx. 1200 m to the shelter. Driving in the forest is subject to a fee/fine. The site is one of a series of coastal campsites along the East Jutland fjords and is marked with a pole from the water side. GPS N 55 26.641 E 009 40.126 The shelter site cannot be booked. Access is on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. However, guests are expected to show consideration for others and share the site.
