Shelterplads Knebel Plantage - multtoilet

The shelter site is located in Knebel Plantage a little east of Knebel By. Mols Bjerge is located slightly to the east. The composting toilet is placed at the forest edge by the access road, at the eastern end of the site. See also the hiking brochure for Mols Bjerge: https://naturstyrelsen.dk/media/1segbnul/33_mols-bjerge_web_020520.pdf The site can be accessed via two routes: From the parking lot at Poskær Stenhus, it’s approx. 300 meters along a path beside a hedgerow, and then an additional approx. 200 meters along a forest track behind the chain barrier. Alternatively, approx. 500 meters along the gravel road that turns right from Poskærvej immediately north of Knebel By, and then further along the forest track behind the chain barrier. In addition to the composting toilet, there is a flush toilet at the parking lot by Poskær Stenhus (approx. 500 meters). Water can be fetched at the toilet building by Poskær Stenhus.
