About this spot
Hvinningdal skov is the forestation project from the year 2000 when the first plantings began. The forest helps secure the groundwater supply for Silkeborg City. There is an enclosed dog forest in the eastern end. The shelter site “Hvinningdal Grusgrav” must be booked separately. A couple of marked routes have been created in the forest.
