Nørkærbro - Shelter 1

The site is located in a beautiful natural area by Skive/Karup Å. The three shelters (Nos. 1, 2, and 3) are very large with a floor area of approx. 6x3 meters. However, there is only a small opening to the shelters in the middle of the front. There is access to the river from the site – fishing rules can be found at skive.dk/fiskeri. At the site, there is a dry toilet, horse paddock, 2 fire pits, and several picnic tables. Behind the shelter lies a beautiful heath, and there is a marked trail connection that leads walkers/riders from Skive-Karup Å, via Skive Plantage, all the way to Skive or to Flyndersø if one crosses the river to the west.
