Rønnebæk Fælled, Næstved

Rønnebæk Fælled is located immediately southeast of Næstved city and is traversed by Ny Præstøvej and the older forest “Fruens Plantage”, situated on the northern part of Mogenstrup Ås. The area west of the railway is called Hovedmose Vænge, as it borders Hovedmose Skov. In the northern part of the area, the municipally owned manor Rønnebæksholm stands as a prominent and beautiful element. Due to the manor landscape around Rønnebæksholm, large parts of Rønnebæk Fælled are laid out with grass and grazing animals. Smaller areas have been planted with new forest. Paths have been established in the area, where there are also a campfire hut, a primitive toilet, a nature playground, picnic areas, and 2 dog forests.
