Ravning Enge Lejrplads

The tent site at Ravning Station is located adjacent to the disused station building in a former garden surrounded by trees and fences. There are toilets with water here. There is room for two tents. Firewood is replenished weekly in the woodshed, but if you want to be absolutely sure you can make a campfire, you should bring your own firewood. The history of Vandelbanen is told in the station building. Finds from Ravningbroen, one of the most powerful bridge constructions of the Viking Age, together with reconstructions of two of Ravningbroen’s bridgeheads, help to bring the Viking Age to life right here. You will find a jetty by Vejle Å, 400 meters from the site.
