About this spot

Haderslev Sønderskov has an area of almost 150 hectares, of which Haderslev Dyrehave makes up 100. The area is beautifully situated down towards the western part of Haderslev Dam by Nørskovgård. In Dyrehaven, there are ample opportunities to see both red deer and fallow deer, which often move in herds and preferably on the open plains. There are 4 entrances/gates to Dyrehaven. Bergs Plads is located in the northeastern end just outside Dyrehaven and is a popular excursion spot, where the Dambåden previously docked. The site is equipped with a grill area, tables, and benches. From Bergs Plads towards Berg Hus, there is a campsite with shelters. The campsite must be booked if you are a group of more than 6 people. At both Nørskovgård and Bergs Hus, there is a public toilet and the possibility to fetch drinking water. For disabled persons, parking is available close to the entrance to the deer park, where there are electronic gate openers on the large gates. A disabled-friendly toilet is available in Det grønne Forsamlingshus by the parking lot. The large gravel roads in the deer park are suitable for wheelchairs and strollers.
