About this spot

The primitive overnight site is nicely situated in a small hollow in the beech forest in Græsted-Aggebo Hegn, and consists of 1 mini shelter with a campfire site, a small bench, and a table-bench set. It is possible to pitch a couple of smaller tents within 20 meters of the shelter. There is space for 2-3 overnight guests in the shelter. You must bring your own water and firewood. It is permitted to collect branches from the forest floor for firewood, but trees must not be cut down. The shelter site must be left tidy, and all trash must be carried out of the forest. Remember to extinguish the fire before leaving the shelter site! You can find the shelter with these GPS coordinates: 56.067817, 12.268616. The shelter was built with support from the A.P. Møller Foundation.
