Shopping: 7 km in Spjald or Ørnhøj. The site is near main road A11, approx. 5 km north of Spjald. Facilities: Water, electricity, free WiFi, waste bins, bonfire site. Opportunity for teaching and dissemination about the forest and Fandens Slot. Additionally, there is access to a compost toilet approx. 300 m from the shelter site. The adjacent pavilion may be occupied for educational purposes for kindergartens, primary and independent schools, after-school and folk high schools, scouts, and youth organizations. Also for educational activities and lectures for hiking/cycling clubs, pensioner and senior associations, and household and garden associations.
