Kirstinelyst - Shelter nr. 1

Shelter no. 1 is one of a total of 5 shelters around Naturrum Kirstinelyst and has space for 5-6 people. It is situated on its own with a campfire site including a grill. There is access to toilets at Kirstinelyst, and a covered area with an outdoor kitchen featuring a grill and water, as well as tables and benches. The shelters at Naturrum Kirstinelyst are inspired by the old “spændhuse,” which were previously used as outbuildings at all heath farms. Inside the shelter, a portion of the floor can be raised to create an indoor dining area. The shelter must be booked directly via the “Book here” button or via the Danish Nature Agency’s booking system. Please note that your booking will be cancelled if you have not arrived at the site by 8:00 PM. If no one has booked the spot, it is available to anyone who wishes to settle down for a shorter or longer period – perhaps just for a brief rest around the campfire site or for an overnight stay. Pitching tents or similar in the areas around Naturrum Kirstinelyst is not permitted. Parking must take place at the parking lot northeast of Kirstinelyst.
