About this spot
Hjermind Skov and Kjællinghøl are located immediately east of Bjerringbro. The area is highly varied, from the heavily hilly moraine landscape in Hjermind Skov to the large expanses of meltwater sand along the Gudenåen at Kjællinghøl. In the area, there are marked hiking trails and campsites with overnight stay options. As part of the Gudenå project, a historical center has now been established at Kjællinghøl with a replica of an Iron Age longhouse, workshop buildings, and shelters. Activities and overnight stays by prior booking only.
