About this spot
The campsite consists of a grassy area where you can pitch a tent, two large shelters for overnight stays, a fire pit, benches, and a table for cooking. Additionally, there is a woodshed and a toilet shed. There is no drinking water on site, but a stream runs right behind the site where you can fetch water to extinguish fires and potentially for cooking. The site is run by Thorsager Friluftsliv, whose members built and maintain the shelters themselves. The site can be used by everyone and can be booked by groups from Thorsager or with connections to it. THE SITE IS NOT ACCESSIBLE BY CAR. Cars can potentially be parked by the church, where you can also draw water. The bus stops at the community hall, 1200 meters from the site. It’s a 1 km walk or bike ride from Thorsager.
