About this spot
The shelter site is located north of Lodbjerg Fyr. The site can be accessed on foot or by bicycle. The shelter is located 100 m from the parking lot at the lighthouse. Facilities on site: campfire site with grill grate, waste bin, horse paddock, composting toilet, and a regular toilet at the lighthouse, which is open all year. Water can be collected from a water post at the lighthouse and is available all year. The campsite: Large group shelter, with space for 25 people and an associated campfire site. It is possible to pitch tents on the site. There is space for approx. 5 tents distributed across the site. There are 2 additional shelters with campfire sites, located behind the large group shelter. A handicap-accessible shelter with a lift and a normal 4-person shelter. (See more info about this under the shelter site icon). The campsite can be booked by larger groups, of >15 people, in connection with special types of events, such as school, sports, or scout events. The site can be booked 12 months in advance. The processing time for the booking is approximately 10 working days. The booking gives priority to the campsite, which includes the large shelter and its associated campfire site. Individuals can use the campsite if it is not booked. If the booking is not used by 8 PM, the campsite can be freely used on a “first come, first served” basis.
