About this spot
Lovely view over Arresø. There are picnic table/bench sets, a fire pit, and a cozy shelter on the site. You must bring your own water and firewood. However, it is permitted to collect dead branches from the forest floor, but trees must not be felled. Remember to take your trash with you and extinguish the fire before leaving the site. Directions by car: The parking lot at the end of Nordhusvej is approx. 1 km walk from the shelter. Directions by public transport: Unfortunately, no bus goes to the area. Frederiksværk station is approx. 6 km from the shelter. You can book the campsite at book.naturstyrelsen.dk.
