Tornby Klitplantage - primitiv shelterplads

At the overnight site, there are two shelters with space for 6 people. It is permitted to pitch tents on the plain close to the shelters. The site cannot be booked. Move closer together - then there’s room for more. On the site, there are table/bench sets, a fire pit with a grill grate, a composting toilet, and drinking water during the summer half of the year. It is aimed for there to be firewood, but it cannot be guaranteed. Use the firewood thoughtfully so there is also some for the next visitors. Dry branches can also be collected from the forest floor. Remember to extinguish the fire thoroughly after you. Help keep the site neat and clean. There is no trash can at the site, so take your trash with you. The site is located west of the forest road Dalgårdvej, directly adjacent to Vestkystruten (National Cycle Route No. 1). Driving cars onto the site is NOT permitted. The nearest parking is approx. 500 meters north at a parking lot on Rævskærvej on the eastern edge of the forest. The shelter has been built with support from A.P. Møller Fonden.
