At Tandrup Sø in Uhrehøje Plantage, you will find a nature base with a shelter and fire pit. About the nature base: A visit to the nature base offers experiences, challenges, a workout, and hands-on learning. Facilities at the nature base: Toilet, Water, Fire cabin, 20 sleeping places (3 shelters). Bedtime stories have been put up in the shelters, which – in addition to good tales – offer knowledge about the flower and the bee, as well as information about why the bog hag brews, the elf girls dance, and the will-o’-the-wisps are seen in the dark. The 4 marked hiking trails in the plantation also depart from the nature base. There is a defibrillator at Farsøvej 95 and at the “waterworks”, the first building at the entrance to the forest when arriving from Fredbjerg.
