Halkær Voldsted, Shelterplads

The site contains 3 shelters with space for 15 people, a toilet, a bonfire site, and water (during the summer half-year). Shelter no. 1 must be booked; it is the shelter located to the left of the entrance. The other 2 are used on a first-come, first-served basis. Note: The shelter must be occupied by 8:00 PM on the day of the booking. If it is not occupied, the first-come, first-served principle will apply. The site is particularly suitable as a coastal spot for sailors in dinghies, rowboats, canoes, or kayaks. Access for sailors from Nibe Bredning approx. 1200 m up Halkær Å to a road bridge with a hauling-out spot, from where it is approx. 150 m to the shelter site. Exhibition about Halkær Mølle approx. 300 m. Footpath and bird-watching tower by Halkær Sø.
