This shelter with a barbecue area is located south of the road to the ferry landing for Orø. Water can be fetched on the other side of the road at the recreational boat club’s buildings. Bring your own charcoal or gather firewood from the forest floor. Remember to extinguish the fire before leaving the campfire. Directions: The site is located close to both the ferry to Orø, the boat guild’s recreational harbor, and Fjordstien. On the way to the ferry landing for Orø (eastern ferry), there is a parking lot on the left just before the last bend before the beach and the ferry. This site cannot be booked, but can be freely used on a “first-come, first-served” basis.
