Mursejleren shelter

The primitive overnight camping site consists of 1 mini-shelter with a fire pit and a small bench. It is possible to pitch a couple of smaller tents within 20 meters of the shelter. The shelter accommodates 2-3 overnight guests. You must bring your own water and firewood. It is permitted to collect branches from the forest floor for firewood, but trees must not be felled. The shelter site must be left tidy, and all waste must be carried out of the forest. Remember to extinguish the fire before leaving the shelter site! The shelter can be found using the GPS coordinates, as it is not marked from the gravel road in the forest. GPS coordinates: 55.84353, 12.0892. If you are by car, you can park at a parking lot at the roundabout, at J. F. Willumsens Vej and Frederikssundsvej. From there, it will be a short hike of approx. 500 meters. If you are using public transport, you can take a bus to the stop, Sti til Nordsjællands Hospital - Frederikssund. From there, it will be a hike of approx. 700 meters.
