Gammel Rye Teltplads

Gammel Rye Teltplads is a hybrid between “primitive” campsites and a small camping site. Since 1958, we have offered accommodation to guests who wished to experience the Jutland nature up close. For over 65 years, Gammel Rye Teltplads has been a great option for those boating on Gudenåen on the route from Tørring towards Silkeborg. Hikers, cyclists, and others seeking nature experiences are also welcome. PRICES - The price is 55 DKK per person per overnight stay. - Parking is 30 DKK per day. - Payment can be made with MobilePay no. 753033 or cash. - Contact us in advance if you are planning larger events and stays with or without overnight accommodation, e.g., a school trip. SERVICE BUILDING - There are 4 women’s toilets and 3 men’s toilets. - There is access to water. - There is access to electricity and charging. - There is an outdoor kitchen with gas hobs. - There is a shower in connection with the toilets, with coin slot for hot water. THE SITE - The site comprises approximately 3 hectares of a 55-hectare nature area.
