Hærvejspladsen shelter

Here at Hærvejspladsen in Østervrå, you will find two shelters located on a large grassy area. There is a toilet with water and 2 covered huts where you can find shelter. You will find MTB trails, petanque, sports courts, skate ramps, and much more. The shelter cannot be booked, and you may stay a maximum of two nights. The toilet and water tap are open from Easter until week 42. Outside the season, it is possible to fetch water at Østervrå hall. Hærvejspladsen Østervrå is part of Hærvejen. The site is beautifully situated near Skovsøen and Voer Å. A scenic 5 km path runs through the local biodiversity forest. The site is close to town, with 200 meters to 2 grocery stores and a local shopping square with a pharmacy. There are 400 meters to a health center with a doctor, dentist, and physiotherapist, as well as a bicycle shop. The town’s Sports and Culture Center is located adjacent to Hærvejspladsen.
