Elling Plantage

A lovely, bright spot in the east end of Elling Plantage. Here are two shelters with room for approximately 4 in each. Additionally, there is a large campfire hut with grilling facilities both inside and out. There is water and a toilet on site. Elling å runs right next to it, and the spot offers good shelter from wind and weather. Østkystruten (cycle route 5) and the local Grøn Tur (cycle route 707) pass by on Mariendalsvej. Find your way to the shelter by following the marked route into the forest, approximately 400 meters from the parking lot. Rideruten Nordvendsyssel passes through Elling Plantage and can also use the site. The shelter cannot be booked, but it is okay to pitch a small tent. There is a composting toilet and a water tap at the site. The site is reserved for walkers, cyclists, and riders, and you may stay a maximum of two nights.
