About this spot
The forest at Trente Mølle is primarily a coniferous forest bordering private forest. Trente Mølle itself has been a watermill since the 16th century and is today a “Nature, Environment and Local Agenda 21 Centre”, operated as an independent institution. There is a well-functioning nature school at Trente Mølle. There is an opportunity to fish in the upper of the two large mill ponds (Roach and Perch) and good opportunities for play in the stream. There is a primitive campsite in the forest and several shelters, and there is also a ‘Kiss the Frog’ station at Trente Mølle. The Archipelago Trail leads past Trente Lund and on to Trebjerg, which is one of Funen’s best viewpoints with a panorama over the South Funen Archipelago and inland on the other side.
