About this spot
Cozy shelter site at a picnic area in Stege Skov. The forest was planted in the late 1990s and is an urban forest with good recreational opportunities and rich flora and fauna. There is a campfire hut, seating, and a primitive toilet close to the shelter site. Good trails throughout the forest, which stretches from Stege town to Udby. The campfire hut must be booked separately. The shelter was built with support from the A.P. Møller Foundation.
