About this spot
Shelter with space for 5-6 people and lake view. Next to the shelter there is a campfire site with a grill and a picnic table set. Bring bags for collecting your own waste, toilet paper, and wet wipes. Leave the site clean, as you would wish to find it. It is permitted to gather small wood for firewood, but if you want to be sure of something dry, you should bring your own firewood or charcoal. It can be good to bring a small saw and a small splitting axe, as well as firelighters. Never cut into living trees! You are welcome to pitch a few smaller (2-3 pers.) tents at the site if there are more of you. Also, follow the instructions on the information sign at the site. The shelter was built with support from the A.P. Møller Foundation. Advance booking: You can book preferential right to overnight stays in the shelter. You can stay a maximum of two consecutive nights in the shelter. You only book the shelter. Others may simultaneously use the facilities, pitch tents at the site, and share the fireplace. Booking can be made no earlier than 3 months before the overnight stay. When booking, you must occupy the shelter before 8 PM, otherwise your preferential right expires. Access: The nearest car park is at Egebjerghus. Nature guide for the area: https://naturstyrelsen.dk/find-et-naturomraade/naturguider/hovedstaden-og-nordsjaelland/hareskovene
