About this spot
In a small forest close to the stadium and tennis courts in Agerbæk, there is an area with a small lake, a packed lunch house, and overnight accommodation options. In 2021, Agerbæk Udvikling built a shelter site with picnic tables, a campfire site, and 2 full timber shelters with space for 6-8 people. Water and toilet access is available at the tennis courts. Bring firewood or charcoal and take trash home with you. The area may be used by everyone, and no booking is required. The area also features MTB trails and good paths around the lake and throughout the forest. The place has been designated as a local gem in Varde Kommune. The forest has a long history. Among other things, the Germans used the forest to train soldiers to camouflage their vehicles during World War II, and the holes from this can still be seen in the forest. In the area there are: 2 shelters, campfire site, picnic tables, packed lunch house, MTB routes, hiking trails, lake and forest. Close to stadium/tennis court with water/toilet access.
