Naturstyrelsen owns the northern part, while the lakeside and the southern part are privately owned. The forest offers many outdoor activities and rich wildlife. In Faksinge Skov, there is an exercise route with outdoor fitness equipment, a shelter site for groups, and a campfire pit. The northern part, however, is a quiet forest. Take your time to enjoy nature, relax, use all your senses, or look out for the white-tailed eagle, which nests on the opposite bank of the shallow Even Sø. A marked hiking trail leads forest visitors around both sections of the forest. You are also welcome to continue your walk in the private part of the forest. Please note that different rules for access apply here than in the public part of the forest. NOTE!
