Slagslunde Skov, shelterplads med to shelters

Choose this site if you are a group needing 2 shelters, i.e., a group of 10-12 people. Others also have the right to use any empty shelter or pitch a tent at the site. In addition to the shelters, there is a fire pit with a grill and two picnic tables. There is no toilet and no waste container. Bring plastic bags for taking your own waste home, toilet paper, and wet wipes. Leave the site as you would wish to find it. It is permitted to gather small dry wood from the forest floor for use in the fire ring. For this, it is good to bring a small saw, a small splitting axe, and firelighters. Never saw into living trees. Alternatively, bring charcoal. You can pitch individual supplementary tents by the shelters. Otherwise, follow the instructions on the information sign at the campsite. Advance booking: You can book preferential right to overnight stays in the shelters. You can stay a maximum of two consecutive nights in the shelters. Only the shelters are booked. Others can simultaneously use the fire pit and picnic tables and pitch a tent at the site. Booking can be made no earlier than 3 months before the overnight stay. When booking, you must occupy the shelters before 8 PM, otherwise your preferential right expires. Access: The shelters are located near Mølleåstien between Farum and Ølstykke Stations. If you come by car, parking is available at Gulbjergvej or Skovvej by Buresø. The nearest bus stop is Skovvej (Gulbjergvej), which is approximately 1 km from here. Motorized vehicles are not permitted on the site, and permission cannot be sought for this. Hiking there is part of the experience. Optionally use a handcart or similar for luggage.
