Overnatningsplads Himmerigvejen

Nice overnight camping spot in a clearing within a Scots pine plantation with a fire pit and space for a maximum of 4 tents, with good opportunities to hang hammocks in the trees right by the site. There will be two 4-person shelters at the site from 2025. The shelters cannot be booked, so they are “first come, first served.” It is good practice to move closer together to make space for more people. Remember - maximum 2 consecutive nights at the site. The site is located in quiet surroundings by the coast and forest. Be considerate of wildlife and other forest guests by not making noise, listening to music, or having unnecessary lights. There is vulnerable nature in the area - especially the low-lying area between the forest and the beach. Please follow existing roads/paths via the parking lot to the beach so that new paths are not created through the low-lying area. No firewood is provided, but dry branches may be collected from the forest floor for small fires (no high flames). Remember to extinguish the fire thoroughly after use. Toilet and drinking water can be found approximately 400 meters to the west at the Hvide Bakker parking lot at the end of Himmerigvej. If you come by car, park at the Hvide Bakker parking lot - driving to the site is not allowed. Help us keep the site and area neat and clean and always take your trash with you.
