Skovgård Shelterplads

GPS coordinates: 55.906077580956264, 9.846493968560322. Large campfire hut with built-in shelter located in a small grove on the outskirts of Egebjerg near Hansted Skov. Perfect for a sing-along evening around the campfire. Good wheelchair accessibility. The shelter site is located on the opposite side of the road from the daycare institution Skovgården, where you can probably park; Vandværksvej 32, 8700 Horsens. (Note: far to toilet). The site is relatively peaceful, but with the advantage that you can drive right to the door also comes the possibility of hearing some traffic from the road. If you want to experience the area, you are near Hansted Skov with its beautiful, wooded slopes and Lille Hansted Å, which winds through the landscape - ideal for a hike. The area by Vandværkssøen is scenic with rich wildlife such as trout, otter, mute swan, grey wagtail, etc. Shelter can be booked via link. If you have booked the shelter, you have first priority during the booking period, but others may use it until you arrive. Facilities: • Overnight stay for up to 4-5 people.
