The site is owned by Grundejerforeningen Holmekollen, but leased by Horsens Kommune, which operates the site through a camp manager. The site is primarily used as a rest area or a launching/landing point for canoe/kayak users. At the site, there is a toilet building with cold water. There are 2 campfire sites, and firewood can be purchased at the site. Trash is disposed of in containers. Overnight stays cost 50 kr. per person and are collected by the camp manager. Children under 6 years are free. Tents may be pitched upon arrival without further notice. There must be at least 3 meters to the neighboring tent. Noisy behavior is not allowed. Dogs must be kept on a leash. Fees for using the site for storing vessels without simultaneous overnight stay are indicated on the signage at the site. Daily sailing hours on the stretch between Tørring and Klostermølle are from 8 AM to 6 PM. The site is open in the period from June 16th up to and including week 42.
